About this resource
This site is an independent information page about Leto Solutions, a medical-device start-up from San Antonio, Texas, as it appeared on the web between 2013 and 2016. It is not operated by the company and does not sell or promote any product.
The idea in brief
Leto Solutions grew out of a student team that wanted to ease a problem familiar to many people who wear a prosthetic limb: heat and sweat building up where the residual limb meets the socket. Its first design, the Aquilonix cooling system, used thermoelectric technology built into a below-knee socket. In the archive, commercial availability was described as expected in early 2016. Whether that happened is not recorded here.
