Gary Walters, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and an amputee, served as an integral member of the design team for the Aquilonix System. When the engineering team was considering product concepts for their Capstone Mechanical Engineering Project, Mr. Walters suggested the team tackle the problem of prosthesis cooling. This Capstone Project led to the prototype which was presented at the UTSA CITE $100K Student Venture Competition and won the top award. Mr. Walters brings diverse skills and experience to the Company. In addition to his 10 years of military service in both Active and Reserve Components of the Unites States Army, he has held leadership roles in the petrochemical construction industry in inventory management and logistics. He served as a founding member and Vice-President of the Students Veterans Association at UTSA, a warehouse supervisor at J.E. Merit Constructors, and a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army. Mr. Walters has recently completed his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and is registered as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) through the state of Texas.
